MAKING THE INVISIBLE VISIBLY
Winter term project 2009/10 about the theme "Exhibition"
BACKGROUND
We know exhibitions as places, where visitors are led by a predefined course, being topic-related informed by shown exhibits. Room structure, orchestration and dramaturgy all interwoven with one another. These are the most important tools for a designer to use. Their interplay finally decides on the quality and tension of an exhibition. During the term project, creating emotions and pictures in condensed form by means of exhibition scenarios shall be exercised and the invisible shall be made visible.
TASK
For the university appearance at the Milan furniture fair an exhibition concept within the predefined area of a 20 ft container on the theme "I'll show you something" shall be developed by every student. Based on his idea, every project participant should develop detailed scenarios and finalise these within the different planning phases.
The term project has competition character and will be rated by the project participants and departmental professors at the end of the semester. The selected project is to be prepared for the university appearance at the Milan furniture fair.
